  2. This is the Network Audio System version 1.2p1 for SCO ODT3.0.

  5. The Network Audio System (NAS) was contribuited to the X Consortium
  6. by NCD.  The source is available from ftp.x.org and other sites.

  9. Installation

  12. 0)    Make sure you have properly installed the Voxware soundcard drivers,
  13.     available in another TLS.
  14.  
  15. 1)    Login as root.
  16.  
  17. 2)    Extract the tar file into the root directory.
  18.  
  19. Check out the man pages.  There are also some overview type postcript docs
  20. in usr/lib/audio/nas.
  21.  
  22. To start the server run 'ausco &' or 'ausco -aa &' to allow connections
  23. from anywhere.
  24.  
  25. You may need to set your AUDIOSERVER environment variable as you would
  26. your DISPLAY variable for the X server.  For example,
  27. 'export AUDIOSERVER=mymachine:0' in sh or ksh.

  29. Try running auinfo to see if you get a response from the server.
  30. Try the other clients.
